CamSwitcher App turns a compatible Axis IP camera into an in-camera audio and video switching studio for live production. The ACAP application can switch between up to five Axis camera or view-area sources and can also include prerecorded video and audio clips stored on an SD card. Operators can change sources manually, run predefined playlists automatically, or trigger switching through API commands. The app generates a single real-time output stream and can maintain a selected master audio source for consistent sound while video views change. CamSwitcher App is ideal for sports, events, tourism, houses of worship, and other multi-camera livestreaming applications. When paired with CamStreamer App, the mixed output can be streamed directly to supported online platforms without a separate video mixer or production computer.
